TMS Coaching
Most people find me after weeks of reading. Forums, books, success stories. The reading helps for a while. Then it starts to feel like one more thing you have to get right.
Coaching is a place to slow down. We talk about what’s happening in your body and what’s been happening in your life. Then we find a next step that fits you.
How it works
- It starts with a free 30-minute intro call on Google Meet. We see if working together makes sense.
- If it does, we meet for 50-minute sessions on Zoom. Most people come once a week at first.
- Sessions are in English or Hebrew.
What a first session looks like
You tell me where it hurts and how long it’s been going on. I ask about the tests you’ve had and what the doctors said.
Then we widen the frame. What was happening in your life when this started? What do you do when the pain flares? You leave with one small thing to try that week.
Who it’s for
- You’ve been told nothing is structurally wrong, and the pain is still there.
- You’ve read about TMS and want help applying it to your own life.
Who it’s not for
- Pain from a fresh injury, or symptoms no doctor has checked yet. Red flags like fever, weight loss you can’t explain or loss of bladder control need a doctor first.
- Anyone looking for a diagnosis. I can’t give one.
Before we start
I’m not a doctor, and coaching doesn’t replace medical care. If your symptoms haven’t been checked by a physician, please start there.
About me
I’m Orian Tal, an existential psychotherapist in Tel Aviv. I trained for three years in existential psychotherapy at Seminar HaKibbutzim, and I’m listed with the Israeli Multidisciplinary Psychotherapy Association. I also won first place in the International Deliberate Practice Society’s Therapist Throwdown.
I’ve lived with pain no one could explain. I know how lonely that search gets, and I know how much it helps to talk it through with someone who gets it.
I also see people in person in Tel Aviv. You can read about that work on my practice site: TMS and psychosomatic pain therapy in Tel Aviv.
